The PetSafe® anti-bark collar helps eliminate disturbing barking in your dog. PetSafe uses advanced technology to accurately distinguish between barking and howling and alerts your dog with a 15-level pulse. The device is rechargeable and waterproof.

Features and operation of the device

The PetSafe collar is rechargeable and does not require any settings to function. The intensity of the corrections as well as the size of the collar is adapted to dogs over 3.6 kg in weight. The collar is supplied with electrodes in two lengths, so that even dogs with longer hair can be properly fitted.

Thanks to the modern sensitive sensor, the device is triggered when the dog barks and howls, while preventing unwanted triggering by sounds from the surroundings.

The PetSafe anti-bark collar uses a gradually increasing impulse in 15 levels to correct. When the dog barks or howls, the collar activates the lowest level of impulse. If the dog does not respond to the stimulus and the barking does not stop, the stimulation gradually increases by one level at a time up to a maximum level of 15. This method is very effective because it teaches the dog to obey at a low level and the barking gradually stops.

For maximum safety of your dog, the collar is equipped with a safety lock and the device resets when level 15 is reached. The collar will also deactivate the corrections in case of continuous barking for 1 minute and 20 seconds. The mode will be inactive for 3 minutes, after which it will start the function again from the lowest level.

Bark detection

The PetSafe anti-bark collar has advanced technology that responds to both barking and howling dogs. The function is made possible by a sensor that senses the sound and vibration of the dog's vocal cords. The resolution is therefore very accurate and prevents unwanted triggering of the collar by ambient noises.

Type of correction 

The device uses a barking and howling correction pulse with automatic increase from level 1 to level 15. When the dog barks, the collar activates at the lowest level 1. If the dog does not respond to the stimulus and the barking does not stop, the collar increases the correction by one level each time up to the maximum level 15. If the dog continues to bark, the collar will start the function again from the lowest level 1.

Setting the collar

The PetSafe anti-bark collar corrects barking without the need for any adjustment. The pulse has an automatic regulation with a gradual increase in force up to a maximum level of 15. After that, the collar resets itself for safety reasons and the pulse is not overstimulated. The safety fuse is also activated if the dog barks for more than 1 minute and 20 seconds.

Batteries and charging

The PetSafe collar runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery. It takes 4 - 5 hours to charge the collar.

Waterproofing 

The PetSafe anti-bark collar is waterproof and can withstand even heavy rain. This makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. 

Breed

The collar is adapted to medium and larger dogs with a weight greater than 3.6 kg by a range of corrections.  

Collar length

The PetSafe Standard adjustable collar with comfortable and lightweight receiver is adjustable for neck volumes from 15 - 61 cm. It does not cause any problem for the puppy to wear it and it holds well on the neck.

Weight and dimensions

The PetSafe Standard collar has a very comfortable and small receiver with a weight of only 48.6 g. The dimensions of the receiver are 5.5 x 2.9 x 3 cm.
