1) Unboxed

The device has only been unboxed; alternatively, the packaging may have been damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or was exchanged for a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging, with at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15 to 40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have gone through service/refurbishment.

The warranty period for the condition “as new” or “unboxed” is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” the warranty period is 12 months; for “heavily used” it is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

How the d-mute basic anti-bark collar works

Dogtrace collars use modern technology that evaluates barking using a microchip. Activation is triggered only by vibrations of the dog’s vocal cords while wearing the collar. This prevents false triggering, for example in response to other dogs barking.

Simple, safe and fully automatic operation

The d-mute basic anti-bark collar is equipped with an automatic mode with increasing impulse, so it requires no complicated settings and is ready for immediate use.

• on the first bark it sends the lowest impulse level
• if the dog continues barking, the intensity gradually increases up to level 6
• after calm (approx. 10–15 seconds) the collar switches back to standby mode

When barking occurs again, it starts again from the lowest level.

Waterproof and compact design

The turquoise collar is suitable for all dog breeds and stands out thanks to its lightweight and ergonomic design. It includes a woven strap that can be easily adjusted to your dog’s neck circumference from 17 to 75 cm. The receiver is 100% waterproof, making it suitable for more demanding outdoor use and various weather conditions.

Dogtrace d-mute basic responds to vocal cord vibrations, so the collar cannot be triggered by another dog nearby under any circumstances. The collar activates when the dog barks.

Type of correction

The device uses an audible warning and an electrostatic impulse as correction.

Collar settings

D-Mute basic operates in a fully automatic mode with increasing impulse. It starts at the lowest correction level and, if barking continues, gradually increases the intensity up to level 6. After the dog calms down (approx. 10–15 seconds), it returns to standby mode. The collar is designed as a simple and intuitive system without complicated settings.

Battery and charging

The Dogtrace d-mute basic anti-bark collar is powered by a replaceable lithium 3V battery designated CR2. The operating life of the collar is approximately 6 to 12 months.

Water resistance

D-mute basic is supplied with a fully waterproof and submersible receiver, making it suitable for both home and outdoor use. You can use it in rain and snow, and your dog can submerge in water while wearing it.

Breed

Thanks to its small dimensions and lightweight construction, the Dogtrace d-mute basic collar is intended for small and medium dog breeds.

Collar length

The package also includes a sturdy woven collar strap that is adjustable and comfortable. Wearing it will not be unpleasant for your dog. The strap measures 20 mm x 70 cm.

Weight and dimensions

Dogtrace d-mute basic has a receiver weighing only 50 grams (without battery) and dimensions of 33 x 40 x 60 mm.
