The Cat Mate Elite Selective Door is the perfect way to give your cat the freedom to come and go as he pleases. This cat door will keep your house a no-go zone for neighborhood cats or at night for foxes and martens who mistake it for an invitation to come in and save you the trouble of opening the door or window yourself whenever your cat wants. The door will recognize the microchip unique to your cat and open it to allow him to enter. Microchip recognition is only used to allow entry from the outside into your home. Your cat can leave the house through the door without microchip recognition. Most cats already have a microchip implanted, or you can use an ID tag attached to your cat's collar. The cat door is extremely easy to program and uses a simple four-way locking system: unlocked, in-only, out-only, and locked. In addition, there is an innovative, easy-to-see LCD display that allows you to set specific times for your cat to come and go. The panel also displays position indicators for up to 3 selected cats, so you can see if your cat is currently inside or outside. You can also see when your cat last went through the flap.
