1) Opened
The device has only been opened, or the packaging was damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.
2) As new*
The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or was exchanged for a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging; at most a few light scuffs.
3) Lightly used*
The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.
4) Heavily used*
The device was used for 15 to 40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have been serviced/refurbished.
* We sell only 100% functional goods that can be used the same as new. For example, waterproofing and other properties are always preserved. The warranty period for categories 1 and 2 is the same as for new goods; for categories 3 and 4 the warranty period is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.
The iTrainer W227 electronic fence is a basic device with excellent features. Among the cheaper devices, we recommend it most often for several reasons: it has a well-designed warning and correction zone. The base unit sets the overall distance, from 30 cm to 4 m. Another advantage is the water-resistant receiver with battery life of up to 1 month. The device is suitable for more sensitive breeds because the impulse strength is among the weaker ones. A stronger impulse can be achieved by using a quality battery intended for devices with high peak current draw (we recommend Energizer).
The W227 invisible fence is suitable for breeds from 8 kg (due to the receiver size) up to 50 kg (sensitive breeds only).
Type of correction
The iTrainer W227 has two impulse levels that change depending on the distance from the wire. The closer the dog is, the more intense the impulse.
Wire included
The basic package of the iTrainer W227 electronic fence includes 300 metres of wire (however, very thin – we recommend surface installation), which is fully sufficient for most installations. If the included wire is not enough, it can be easily extended up to a distance of 600 metres.
Battery and charging
The iTrainer W227 receiver is powered by a standard 9V battery, which you can buy in almost any shop (we recommend Energizer batteries). Its life is approx. 10 days. It has LED indication of the battery status. The base unit is mains powered. You can purchase an additional backup power supply with battery for operation during a power outage or when mains power is unavailable.
Waterproofing 
The iTrainer W227 features a water-resistant receiver with good insulation and is suitable for use in rain, snow and very humid environments.
Number of dogs 
The iTrainer W227 can be used for an unlimited number of dogs. By purchasing additional collars, you can easily expand it.
Collar length
The iTrainer W227 has a nylon collar. Wearing it is not a problem for the dog and it holds well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 20 to 55 cm. The collar can be replaced with a longer one—just write your dog’s neck circumference in the note, or you can fit the device to your own collar.
Weight and dimensions
The base unit is 10.9 cm wide, 12.9 cm high and 4.3 cm deep. The receiver is 6.9 cm wide, 3.6 cm high and 3.8 cm deep, and weighs 63 grams (98 grams including the battery).
