Collar range
With the PetSafe® Core 300m collar you can train your dog at a maximum distance of 300 m. It is therefore suitable for less demanding training at home or in the garden, where the terrain is not very rugged.
Correction type
The PetSafe® Core 300m training collar uses tone, vibration or an electrostatic stimulation with 15 adjustable intensity levels to correct unwanted behaviour. The strength of the tone and vibration is fixed and cannot be adjusted. However, the electrostatic stimulation can be easily set across 15 different levels to provide an optimal signal tailored to your dog’s temperament and physical build.
Battery and charging
The PetSafe® Core 300m runs for around 20 hours on a single charge (charging takes approx. 2 hours). The device recharges via the USB cable included in the pack, and a flashing icon on the receiver alerts you when the battery is low.
Water resistance
The PetSafe® Core 300m is supplied with a water-resistant receiver. This makes it an ideal choice for training dogs in poor conditions (forest, mud, near water). The transmitter on the PetSafe 100 is only resistant to rain and snow.
Number of dogs
By purchasing an additional receiver collar, you can use the PetSafe® Core 300 m transmitter to train 2 dogs at the same time.
Display
The remote has a digital backlit display that is large, clear and easy to read. The display shows the correction level, battery status and dog number, so you can easily stay oriented when training 2 dogs.
Collar length
The collar strap is made from a water-resistant rubberised material and is adjustable for a dog neck circumference of 25–56 cm. You can remove the device from the collar and attach it to any other strap.
Weight and dimensions
The transmitter is 4.9 cm wide, 12.4 cm high and 3 cm deep, and weighs 85 g. The receiver is 5 cm wide, 4 cm high and 3.6 cm deep, and weighs 49 g.
