Dogtrace d-control 400 mini | Electronic training collar

The D-control 400 mini electronic training collar is suitable for the smallest and small dog breeds from 1 to 15 kg thanks to weaker stimulation, small dimensions and the low weight of the receiver. The stimulation can be set on a scale of 20 levels, allowing you to choose the right intensity for your dog. The device also offers the option of sound correction, which can be used as a warning before a possible subsequent stimulation. The D-control 200 mini model is equipped with a Booster function, which provides a step increase in stimulation without lengthy re-setting. Booster guarantees a prompt response; pressing it increases the stimulation level by 0–5 levels, again depending on your dog’s specific disposition. With a maximum range of 250 m, you can train up to 2 dogs at the same time using one transmitter; with a single button you can switch between dogs A and B. The transmitter has a belt clip. You do not need to switch modes to set functions—each function has an assigned button. The collar switches on using a magnet and the backlit LCD display shows the stimulation level, selected dog and battery status. The receiver is supplied as a fully submersible receiver, making it an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions (forest, mud) or near water. Another clear advantage is the long battery life of up to 6–12 months. For certainty, the battery status is indicated by an LED indicator light.

Type of correction

The D-Control 400 Mini model offers 2 types of warning signals – corrections: sound and stimulation. The stimulation can also be set on a 20-level scale. The collar is suitable for sensitive as well as temperamental dogs, which is reflected in the wider range of electrostatic stimulation strength. The model also features a Booster function, which provides a step increase in stimulation by 0–5 levels according to your setting.

Collar range

With its range, the collar is suitable for training at home as well as in more demanding, uneven terrain. The maximum training distance is 250 m according to measurements in laboratory conditions. It will suit you in normal conditions, e.g. in the garden, where the terrain is not too demanding.

Battery and charging

Both the transmitter and receiver operate on a replaceable 3V lithium battery marked CR2, with a service life of 6–12 months depending on the frequency and type of functions used. Battery status is indicated by an LED indicator light.

Waterproofing

The collar receiver is supplied as a fully submersible receiver. This makes it an ideal choice for training in water or extreme conditions (forest, mud) or near water. The transmitter has basic water protection.

Number of dogs

The D-Control 400 Mini can be used to train two dogs at the same time – on the transmitter you can switch between dogs A and B using a button.

Display

The transmitter has a built-in backlit LCD display indicating the stimulation level, selected dog and battery status. The front panel is fitted with buttons for controlling individual functions.

Collar length

The D-Control 400 Mini has a woven textile collar and wearing it does not cause the dog any problems. The collar length is adjustable from 18 to 75 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The transmitter is 5.2 cm wide, 11 cm high, 2.9 cm deep and weighs 64 grams. The receiver is 3.1 cm wide, 6.1 cm high, 3.1 cm deep and weighs only 44 grams.
