1) Unpacked

The device has only been unpacked, or the packaging was damaged and therefore repacked into non-original packaging. The product has never been used.

2) As new

The product was used as a demo unit in-store, or it was exchanged by a customer within a few days. It may not have the original packaging, with at most a few light scuffs.

3) Lightly used

The device was used for 5–15 days; there are already visible scratches from claws.

4) Heavily used

The device was used for 15–40 days; there are very noticeable scratches or tooth marks. It may have gone through servicing/refurbishment.

The warranty period for “as new” or “unpacked” is the same as for new goods; for “lightly used” the warranty is 12 months; for “heavily used” it is 6 months. The goods can be exchanged or returned within 30 days. They always include complete accessories unless stated otherwise.

The PetSafe® VBC-10 anti-bark vibration collar is designed for any dog weighing from 3.6 kg. The collar uses vibration to help prevent barking. It offers 10 vibration combinations and advanced Perfect Bark ™ technology, which effectively and safely discourages the dog from barking while wearing the collar. The collar runs on 1 PetSafe RFA-188 battery. Battery life is 3–6 months depending on how often the collar is used.

Correction type

The PetSafe® vibration collar uses only vibration to reduce barking, which you can set in 10 levels. PerfectBark ™ technology is dual detection that combines vibration and a microphone to eliminate false trigger signals for sending the vibration correction. This exclusive technology ensures the collar activates and delivers a correction only if it detects vibrations from the dog’s vocal cords as well as the sound of barking. This detection method is especially suitable if the dog not only barks but also howls. Sometimes, if a dog howls and does not bark, a classic collar may not be able to effectively detect only the vibration of the vocal cords and therefore activate (i.e. deliver a correction). However, we do not guarantee that the collar will always correctly evaluate a dog’s howling and suppress it effectively. We guarantee that the collar effectively detects barking and triggers at the right time, teaching the dog when it can bark and when it cannot.

Battery and charging

The PetSafe® vibration dog collar uses a special PetSafe RFA-188 battery. The battery lasts approximately 3–6 months. At the beginning of using the collar, the battery lasts on average 3–6 months depending on how often the collar is used during training.

Waterproof

The PetSafe® vibration collar is fully waterproof. It is therefore an ideal choice for training dogs in water or in extreme conditions (forest, mud).

Number of dogs

The PetSafe® vibration collar cannot be expanded to train multiple dogs at once.

Collar length

The PetSafe® vibration collar has a very strong, high-quality collar strap made of plastic. It does not bother the dog to wear and it holds well on the neck. The collar length is adjustable from 20 to 71 cm.

Weight and dimensions

The receiver is 5.2 cm wide, 1.9 cm high and 2 cm deep, and weighs 72 grams.
