Fences for dogs and cats
Do you have a canine escape artist who sees your fence as a mere hurdle, or an enthusiastic "gardener" who regularly "rearranges" your flower beds? Traditional methods often fail, but electronic dog fences represent a modern, safe, and aesthetic solution without the need to mar your garden with barbed wire.
How Does It Work?
1. Transmitter: Placed in a dry location, it sends a signal through the wire.
2. Antenna Wire: An insulated wire creates an invisible boundary underground or along the fence.
3. Receiver: The dog's collar warns that they are leaving the designated area first with a sound/vibration and then with an electrostatic pulse.

Can the wire be installed on an existing chain-link fence?
Yes, a metal or chain-link fence does not interfere with the signal of the electronic fence, and you can easily use it as a support. You can simply attach the insulated wire to the fencing using zip ties. The wire only carries a signal, not an electric current, making it safe for you and the fence itself. This method saves you the time you would otherwise spend burying the wire in the ground.
Will the electrostatic pulse hurt my dog?
This is definitely not about animal cruelty. High-quality fences work with several warning levels: first, an audible signal or vibration sounds. Only if the dog ignores the warning do they receive a correction pulse. The pulse level on modern devices can be finely tuned so that the dog reacts to it without causing pain. In practice, the dog realizes the connection very quickly, and soon the sound warning alone will be enough to stop them.
What age and breed of dog is the fence suitable for?
Electronic fences are recommended for dogs from approximately 6 months of age. At this age, the dog is already capable of understanding cause and effect and successfully completing short training at the property boundaries. Regarding size, invisible fences can be used for all breeds and property sizes. It is only important to choose the correct receiver size for the collar and the corresponding pulse strength.
